1. I’m not always as glamorous as you might think. Sure, I get to dress up and serve champagne on deck, but most of the time I’m in jeans and a t-shirt scrubbing toilets or cleaning windows. It’s not all glamorous, but it’s still an amazing job.

2. I’ve seen some pretty crazy stuff on board. From wild parties to fights to sex scandals, I’ve pretty much seen it all. And while it can be shocking at times, it’s also part of what makes this job so interesting.

You never know what you’re going to see or who you’re going to meet next. 3. I work long hours, sometimes upwards of 20 hours per day when we’re in port. It can be exhausting, but it’s also very rewarding knowing that you helped make someone’s vacation special.

4 .I’ve made some great friends during my time as a stewardess and we always have each other’s backs no matter what happens onboard . We support each other through the good times and the bad and there’s nothing like bonding with someone over a difficult situation .
